Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism Policy – Central Asia Science Review

At Central Asia Science Review, we are committed to upholding rigorous academic standards, including the integrity and originality of all submitted and published manuscripts. To protect scholarly quality and ensure ethical research practices, the journal enforces a strict plagiarism policy.

Plagiarism Screening Tools

All submitted articles are checked for originality using industry-recognized plagiarism detection tools, including Turnitinand StrikePlagiarism.
These platforms compare the manuscript with extensive databases of academic texts, articles, and web content to identify any overlapping or copied material.

Minimum Originality Requirement

Manuscripts must demonstrate a minimum of 60% original content. In other words, no more than 40% of the material may consist of previously published or unoriginal content.
Submissions that fall below this threshold will undergo further evaluation, and authors may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscript to meet originality standards.

Response to Plagiarism

When potential plagiarism is identified, it will be evaluated based on its extent and nature:

  • Minor similarities, such as standard phrases or unavoidable terminology, may not require correction if the manuscript’s overall originality remains intact.

  • Moderate to significant overlap may result in rejection. Authors will receive specific feedback on the identified issues.

  • Serious plagiarism, where substantial portions of the text are copied, may lead to stricter consequences, including notifying the authors’ academic institutions and restricting future submissions to the journal.

Author Responsibility

It is the author’s responsibility to ensure their submission is fully original and that all sources, citations, and referencesare properly acknowledged.
Direct quotes, paraphrased content, and data derived from other works must be clearly cited to avoid any form of academic misconduct.

Ethical Commitment

By submitting a manuscript to Central Asia Science Review, authors confirm that their work is original and complies with the journal’s plagiarism policy.
We urge authors to thoroughly review their papers for potential plagiarism before submission to prevent unintentional violations.
Upholding these ethical standards is essential for maintaining the credibility of our journal and contributing to a trustworthy academic environment.
